Rubens Barrichello is a Brazilian driver, currently driving for Brawn GP. Button made his debut in 1993 for Jordan finishing 17th. He drove for Jordan, for four years earning his first pole position in 1994 before moving to Stewart for three years in 1997.
In 2000, Rubens made the greatest move of his life, by moving to Ferrari. That year he went on to gain his highest points tally yet of 62 points whilst also picking up his first win. Over the next five years he finished 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 4th and 8th whilst partnering the great Michael Schumacer.
After three rather unsatisfactory years at Honda the team was bought by Ross Brawn, renaming the team Brawn GP. The team had had amazing success in the first few races of the 2009 Season, and Barrichello was currently second behind his teammate, Jenson Button.
Things did go a little down hill from there, but Barrichello fought back to grab his first win of the season in Valencia, at the European grand prix. Going into his home race in Brazil with two races to go he was 14 points Jenson Button. He grabbed pole in rain ruined qualifying session.
