Red Bull was formed on the 14th November 2004, after the drinks company bought the Jaguar Racing team. The team signed up David Coulthard and Christian Klien who led Red Bull to a fairly successful first season, finishing seventh with 34 points. For the 2007 season Klien left, and Mark Webber joined, as they finished seventh. Coulthard retired for the 2009 season and Sebastian Vettel was signed from sister team, Toro Rosso. They currently have their highest points total already with only five races gone.
